Kaila Bussert is Visual Resources Outreach Librarian at Cornell University, where she provides research and instructional support for visual resources in the humanities and social sciences. She works with librarians and faculty to promote the use of images and visual media in teaching and learning in the humanities and social sciences. She is co-author of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Visual Literacy Standards for Higher Education, and she has presented and published on visual literacy and libraries. She holds an MA in Near Eastern Studies and an MLIS from the University of Arizona.
